In 2009, NYSAN partnered with the NY State Education Department, NYS Office of Children and Family Services, and NYC Department of Youth and Community Development to collect and compile data on publicly-funded afterschool sites throughout the state. These sites receive at least one grant from 21st Century Community Learning Centers, Advantage After School, and/or NYC's Out-of-School Time Initiative funds.
