There are two ways in which you can access the QSA Tool:

  1. Download a PDF of the QSA Tool here to fill out on paper.

  2. Follow the links below to fill out the QSA Tool electronically. You will save the results to your computer; this website will not store your results.

Whether you fill the tool out on paper or through this website, you can access strategies for making program improvements and other resources on program quality by following the ten links below. Information on these pages is presented in six ways:

Zooming In Zooming In
This section equips you to make clear distinctions when using the performance scale by providing examples of what a program might look like at each of the performance levels. Remember that your program may not fit these descriptions perfectly, but these examples should provide you with an idea of what a program is like at each level. See

Taking Action

Taking Action
A solid improvement plan guides your practice as you move toward creating change. In these sections you will find sample action plans for addressing an area where the program scored below satisfactory. Each Taking Action section is based on an indicator which may be particularly challenging to programs.

Tips Tips for Success
These tips will help you engage in reflective dialogue around the indicators and identify improvement strategies that lead to exceeding standards.
